這款有機紅酒是用7成托斯卡納區(Tuscany)出産的蒙特普齊亞諾(Montepulciano) 和3成桑嬌維塞(Sangiovese)葡萄釀製. 蒙特普齊亞諾葡萄以經不用多介紹, 因它早在16世紀已經風行意大利, 更在18世紀末被正式冠上貴族葡萄. 至於桑嬌維塞, 雖然不如亦霞珠(Cabernet Sauvignon)和美樂(Merlot) 般在市場上常被關注到的葡萄,但其實它是意大利最古老的紅葡萄品種,年代可追溯到古羅馬釀酒時代.

紅寶石的顏色.酒身飽滿並光澤和帶有紫色反光.雖然不像阿瑪羅尼那樣濃稠, 但它帶著成熟的黑莓,桑葚,野生漿果、櫻桃和莫雷羅的香氣.

在食物配對方面, 因它所採用這兩種葡萄,優勢在於能把自身最佳的酸度和精緻的香料平衡地交雜,不會擾亂口腔的堅韌單寧的支持. 加上它帶有香脂味,所以與熏肉或精緻的燒烤(如德克薩斯烤肉)很相配. 牛和羊肉搭配能達到最佳效果.如果將肉醃製或用鼠尾草,羅勒,迷迭香,百里香,馬鬱蘭等香草調味，那就更好了.
