This bottle of Solonero is a red wine crafted from Pinot Noir grapes originating from France's Burgundy wine region. Pinot Noir boasts complex flavors ranging from fruits like strawberries, cherries, and raspberries to notes of vanilla and mushrooms. As a medium-bodied red, it can be lightly chilled to about 12°C (54°F) in the refrigerator before enjoying during summer gatherings, since Pinot Noir is considered a red wine that can be enjoyed immediately after opening. This light-bodied wine, rich in acidity and fruitiness with subtle earthy notes, is an elegant red that pairs beautifully with any cuisine. It complements ham, turkey, beef, salmon, and roasted chicken exceptionally well. Its acidity also makes it a perfect match for tomato-based dishes like pasta, stews, or pizza. Its light fruitiness also creates a delightful contrast with the saltiness of cured meats.
