In the 19th Century, Italy was attacked by louse which demolished the vineyards. Vines were replanted by grafting with vines transplanted from other countries. It is there for very rare to find wines such as this Carignano from vines over 50 years old in Italy. 

DEGUSTATION AND PAIRING:
